Up to now ive always used aweber paid $19.95 a month and have been happy but recently i needed to have an option of either

1. Being able to queue up 50 emails and then select a day of the week and time, that each one would go out on so i.e Tuesday 6.00am.. This would mean on tuesday 1st one goes, then next tuesday the next one goes, then the following tuesday the 3rd one goes until all 50 are done..

Well aweber had something like that but they wanted me to upgrade another $40 a month to get it.. I refused to do that

2. Second option was to have it so that my subscribers could select the day or days of the week they want my messages sent i.e mon, tues, wed, thurs, frid and then if i had 50 emails queued up and they had selected say mon, wed, frid... 1st email goes mon, 2nd, wed, 3rd fri, 4th mon, 5th wed, 6th fri.. etc.. Aweber didnt have this option

I think these should be standard

Do you have any of these???

Hi,

I'm just a customer so not really qualified to answer you however, I can tell you that the first option you asked for is already built into the system and costs no extra. The second option does not exist and while it would be possible to program it into the system, I cannot see why anyone would need it?

If it's a question of the susbcriber not being able to read his mail on certain days, he will still be able to read it when he eventually sits in front of his computer. For example, let's say he wanted to receive mails on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday but, due to him subscribing on a Tuesday he receives his mails on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, he is still getting his mails only they will arrive a day earlier or a day later than expected.

If I'm missing something, please feel free to explain your motive behind this requirement. I am very heavily into marketing techniques so am fascinated to better understand why you should need this.

As Quicktell says we already have option 1 and while not having option 2 we do have the option to send on specific days, say only Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, regardless of when the subscriber signed up or what delay you've set.

Changing the subject slightly Leslee, have you noticed how your forum software applies the QUOTE tags correctly but they are not working?

If you are in the "follow up" messages, and you only want to send your followups on Thursday every week.

Uncheck everything except Thursday and the system will only send on a Thursday. The dropdown is the delay from the date of the subscriber sign up.

So if you want to send the first mail after 1 week but on a Thursday only, set the dropdown to 1 week and only check Thursday.

I hope this helps if not let me know.
